Melbourne Uni to repay millions in unpaid staff wages

The news in the Australian Financial Review (3.11.22) that the University of Melbourne owes more than $20million dollars to its staff is alarming. That an educational institution responsible for training leaders of the future in law and commerce to be delinquent, or worse, in paying its staff, requires a serious investigation and consequences.
The university is also in the news for its harsh treatment of the Werribee Animal Hospital. What else is going on at the university that the public should know about? The ghost of the failed Melbourne University Private appears to be haunting the institution still.
